What is this blog?

This blog mirrors the main posts from my tumblr, which is my attempt to teach people about Less Wrong style rationality in a way that is easier to follow and less intimidating than The Sequences. It’s also my way of bundling concepts that aren’t part of the Sequences, but still part of the Aspiring Rationalist meme-space.

On top of that it’s also a place where I want to nurture an environment where people feel free to ask questions about rationality and related concepts.

Who are you?

My name is Mathias Zaman and I live in Belgium. My personal blog here on tumblr can be found here. I’ve been part of the aspiring rationalist community for a couple of years now, after being told about Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality. I noticed people didn’t really have a space to discuss or ask questions about the core concepts of rationality and I enjoyed explaining them, which is why I made this blog.

My current dream is seeing someone write a rationalist!fanfic of The Animorphs
